Beat victory.

Our 1 nil win over Blarney ,Our first win over them in 9 league games, hope fully will kick start our year.Team very young needed a win to settle them down.

Leeside b team had a great win over St John Boscos in the St Michels Cup.Winning 6-5 on penaltys after 1all draw.

Premier team; Had a very poor start down at the bottom end of the league .Lost ther first game to Greenmount 1nil ,Then only drew two of there next five games losing to Kinsale, Passage and Togher before geting there first win over Blarney by 1 nil Derek Delea getting the goal after 15 minutes.Five points out of twenty one not league winning form.Had a bad start to last season and still nearly won the league.

Going ok in the league mid table had good wins over Passage and local rivals Hill Celtic ,are very confident this team can win the league , have being close over the last couple of years.Had good win over Boscos in the St michels cup.

Dermot O Brien,Michel Coughlan, Thomas Gettings,Connor O Leary,Jimmy Bar O Sullivan,Stephen Walsh,Derek Delea ,John Corcoran,Colin Ahern,Damian O Leary,Kieran Mullins,Craig Donnelly,Joe Lyons.Ger and Ed O Mahony Barry Lamb.The panal is subsidized from the b team were possible .

The club have there own grounds and dressing rooms at the Little Island community centre .Adjacent to the splendid pitch the club have a flood lit training area.

Both teams train on Tuesday and Thursday nights .Jerry looks after both teams on the night.Jerry gets a very good turn out both nights and any new players wanting to join the club can call down either night at around eight o clock.

At the start of the saeson the main aim of the club would have being to win the league but a poor start has probably put that out of our reach ,At this stage a mid table finish is more a relistic goal.Hopefully we can get a good run in one of the cups,we had a lot of success over the last few years in the AOH getting to a number of finals and winning one .Having said that a run in any of the cups would be a bonus. The B team also would love to bring home the County Cup once more,Having won this cup on a few occasions as a player John O’Sullivan would now love to manage a winning team, a league and cup double would go down ok.

Long term the club would love to develop more playing areas The schoolboys section now have a good structure and hopefully soon we will be able to see players coming through to the junior club every year.At the moment the F.A.I. junior cup is probably beyond us but with a bit more hard work and with the players coming through from the schoolboys its not beyond possibility.
