Douglas Hall are off to Kerry on Saturday next where they take on Killarney
Celtic in the quarter-final of the Munster Youths Cup. The Hall, under
manager Kieran Grainger, have emerged as one of the top minor teams in Cork
and, in the previous round of the provincial championship, surprised mighty
Rockmount.
Douglas, with Ian Doyle and skipper David Grainger collecting the goals, are
currently second in the Barry's Tea AUL First Division and are also through to
the semi-final of the League Cup following Saturday's win over Everton. They
have suffered just one defeat in 14 games and that was to southside rivals
Ringmahon Rangers in the FAI Cup.
Grainger picks form the following: D. Boyle, J. Carroll, I. Murnaghan, J.
Mehigan, S. O'Connell, J. Kenneally, J. Glackin (vice-captain), K. Demsond, A.
Carroll, D. Grainger (captain), I. Doyle, M. O'Connell, R. Corkery, and P.
Lyons.
