BALLINCOLLIG AGM:
Finbarr Hogan, the ex international youth keeper, is the new
manager of Ballincollig's senior team. Finbarr, with his
assistant Eamonn Kennedy, led Ballincollig juniors to promotion
in League 1 this season and takes over from Mick McNulty who'll
be helping out with the club's large schoolboy section.
Ballincollig's new Premier League side will be guided by Martin
O'Neill who was in charge of the successful One B team this
season. Brendan Hogan will manage the first division side while
the third division juniors will again be under the wing of Miah
Murphy.
Denis Campion, the manager of the Cork AUL Youths representative
side, is again the general manager of the Ballincollig underage
section. Tom O'Connell continues as manager of the Ladies team.
Paddy Byrne, the outgoing chairman, remains at the helm as the
club heads into its 21st season. The other officers are: Martin
O'Neill (vice chairman), Gerardine McNamara (secretary), Jimmy
O'Shea (assistant secretary), Pat Kavanagh (Treasurer), Denis
McCarthy (assistant treasurer), and Tom O'Connell (PRO).
